Theatregoers are invited to vote for their favourite actor or actress at www.sugocsiga.hu . Fifty actors and actresses deemed most popular last year will compete in the first round of voting, which ends on February 26. Twenty-five will be eliminated and the rest will compete for twelve finalist Súgócsiga awards in the second round of voting, which ends on March 19. But the challenge does not end there.
At an event scheduled for the end of March, attended by nearly everyone in Hungary?s theatre business, the finalists must compete to take the prize from last year?s contest winner, Róbert Alföldi. Alföldi will prove a worthy challenge: he has won the top award so many times he was made a ?Permanent Member of the Súgócsiga Lodge?. He is also fronting the campaign for the vote on the internet and in other advertisements.
