Jörg Widmann will play the Clarinet Concerto. He will also perform a work he wrote himself: Con Brio ? Concert Overture.
Christiane Oelze will be the soloist for Mahler?s Symphony No. 4, which is based on a song composed from the German children?s classic Des Knaben Wunderhorn.
The NDR Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Michael Gielen.
