Gyorgy Kurtag compositions such as "Songs of Despair and Sorrow" will be paired with Mozart works such as "Requiem" at concerts. Kurtag himself will contribute at some of the chamber concerts.
The Mozart Week, to last from January 22 to 27, will feature several well known conductors, including Nicolaus Harnoncourt, Rene Jacobs, Yannick Nezet-Seguin and Andras Schiff.
