The collection of some 150 objects can be seen by the public for one week from Friday.
The collection includes a pendrive with traditional Hungarian motifs, a medal from the Zsolnay porcelain factory, a Rubik?s Cube, Herend porcelain cups, gift boxes filled with ?hungarikums? and the latest Hungarian invention: an automatic dispenser of pálinka, the Hungarian eau de vie.
?Traditional Hungarian products made up one part of the gifts during the presidency, but we showed our innovative side as well,? said Foreign Ministry state secretary for EU affairs Enikő Győri.
Upon accepting the list of objects presented by government commissioner for the EU presidency Ferenc Robák, museum director László Csorba noted that the modern museologist thinks not only about the past but also about the future when adding to the collection.
