More than 80 films from 27 countries took part in the festival in Strumica, the former capital of Macedonia, during the last days of May.
Kocsis's documentary tells the story of the inhabitants of Rosia Montana, a village in Romania, and their relocation in order to open a goldmine. Since the film?s premiere in 2004, it has won 16 prizes. The film will next compete at the Romadok Festival in Italy in June.
?Timed Bombs?, the latest effort by the team which produced ?New Eldorado?, was well received at the Envirofilm festival in Slovakia.
