The list is based on projections by literary critics and book publishers. For the past five years, the panel has selected each month the ten books most likely to appear on bestseller lists in the following month. Books named by the panel receive special promotion at bookshops.
Rowohlt has published ?K. Dossier? in German.
In July, Hungarian author Péter Esterházy's ?Einführung in die schöne Literatur?, or ?Introduction to Literature? was at the top of the ORF list. The book was published by Berlin Verlag.
