The award is the latest of many awarded to ?Nyocker? at film festivals around the world.
Other prize-winners at the week-long festival were Poland?s Tomak Baginski and Krishna Saraswati of Germany.
Basauri, which is near to Bilbao, hosted the film festival for the second time. This year, ticket sales to films showing at the festival were four time what they were in the previous year, offering a good indicator of the festival?s popularity.
