(MTI) - The festival, established in 2004, has grown to become a major event in Austria. This year, it featured 160 features and short films between April 12 and 17.
Pal Adrienn is the first Hungarian film awarded by Crossing Europe. The director personally attended the award ceremony on Saturday evening.
The film had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2010 where it won the FIPRESCI award of international film critics.
Agnes Kocsis's second film is a story of an overweight hospital nurse discovering her identity when meeting her long-lost childhood friend, Adrienn Pal again.
