Superbrands Hungary manager András Wiszkidenszky and Superbrands Hungary Committee chairman János Serényi presented the title to Palace of Arts director Imre Kiss on the first day of the art centre's much anticipated Wagner series.

The Palace of Arts has "earned excellent recognition in its area. The values connected to the brand offer emotional and practical advantages that consumers expect and recognise," the Council said.

The Palace of Arts will be allowed to use the Superbrands 2007 logo in all brand communications next year.
The Superbrands organisation identifies and pays tribute to exceptional brands by recognising, rewarding, and reinforcing leading brands from all over the world. The organisation runs the Superbrands award schemes and promotional programmes, each with a brand focussed publication at its core.
Superbrands has launched programmes in over 70 countries including all the key global markets.

Superbrand programmes aim to identify those brands that are performing above and beyond others within the market. At the heart of all the programmes is an independent and voluntary council of leading experts comprising individuals with a deep appreciation of the brand landscape in the country being examined.

The Palace of Arts was awarded the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence award by the International Real Estate Federation in 2006.
