Paris hosts Cinemagyar Hungarian film festival

Iszka's Journey

The festival has been organised with the support of the Hungarian Institute in Paris and Clavis Films and it is held at the L'Entrepot cultural centre on the Montparnasse.

 
The opening film was director Kornel Mundruczo's Delta, which will go on general release in France in January 2009. The programme also includes Csaba Bollok's film Iszka's Journey which is Hungary's nominee at next year's Academy Awards.
 
A concert of Central European folk music by Zsuzsanna Varkonyi and a photo exhibition by Viktoria Sovak are also held during the festival.
