The Pécs Ballet, invited to the festival by the Interart Cultural Centre, performed a production of ?The Hunchback of Notre Dame?, based on French author Victor Hugo?s acclaimed novel. The audience of 800 in the Macedonian Opera and Ballet theatre gave the performance a standing ovation.
Hugo?s novel has been adapted many times over the years, including by several filmmakers.
