The works on display come from the Chrudimi Regional Museum, the Brno Moravska Galerie, the Ivancice Museum the library of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts and the private collection of Dr. Zdeněk Třímal.
Alfons Mucha (1860-1939) excelled as a painter, industrial artist and stage designer, but he is best known as a graphic artist. His work can be seen in books, stamps, calendars, wallpaper, furniture rugs, stained glass and jewellery.
In addition to the original works, the exhibition will also feature 86 photographs of Mucha?s pieces, taken by the artist himself.
