The local archaeological museum will soon release the remains of the former Bishop of Pécs after which they will be placed in a wooden coffin decorated with copper plates.

The re-interment will take place following a mass on October 21. About 400 guests will be invited to the ceremony by the diocese, among them Minister of Education and Culture István Hiller.

The remains of Janus Pannonius will be buried in a crypt made by the sculptor Sándor Rétfalvi next to Bishop Nándor Dulánszky.
