The images are the work of renowned Hungarian photographer Károly Gink, whose life work the museum purchased in 2004. In addition to the photographs of Bartók?s works for the stage, photographs form Gink?s personal estate, never before put on public display, will be part of the exhibition.
Kecskemét is about 100 kilometres south of Budapest. The Museum of Hungarian Photography is at József Katona Square 12.
The exhibition ?Homage to Bartók ? Károly Gink (1922-2002)? is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00, Wednesday through Sunday from17-28 March.
