Poulain will hold the day-long seminar after a presentation of his book Wisdom Through the Lens.
Poulain says his workshop is ?about the basics of photography, which covers the technical aspect, but also the artistic and philosophical one?.
?A photographer is not only someone who masters a camera, he or she is essentially an ?eye?, a human being capable of transmitting something using the technical aspect... and beyond it.?
Poulain says that being a photographer for him is a ?philosophical way of life?.
?Each picture taken is a spiritual experience - not in a religious aspect, but in the way it allows me to approach beauty, which I consider, after Plato, as being an aspect of the Truth,? he says.
