The five-day festival will open with a photo exhibition showing an unusual face of the Czech capital in the Palace of Arts, where on the same evening Prague's leading Symphony Orchestra will perform works by best known Czech composers Bedrich Smetana and Antonin Dvorak, the centre's cultural officer said.
On May 16-18 the Orokmozgo cinema will show six Czech new wave films from the period of 1968-2008, Robert Gal said.
In a popular event Czech beer from a range of breweries will be offered to the public in the park near the City Hall from Thursday through Sunday, he said.
