Presidance, which mixes traditional folk dance with modern elements, are the only Hungarian artists who have been invited to the event. Some 50,000 people are expected to watch the programme to take place on the main square in front of the European Parliament, but many more will watch on television.
Belgium is taking over the rotating European Union presidency from Spain, which was the first member of a ?trio? which also includes Hungary. Hungary will take over the presidency for six months from the start of 2011.
