The radios, ranging from the E545, made in 1955, to a tuner for a hi-fi set made in 1987, will be shown at the Öreghegy-Felsőváros Community Centre.
Among the models on display are the Venice, which sold some 200,000 units in the 60s, and the very rare stereo version of the Pacsirta ('Lark' in Hungarian). The mono version of the Pacsirta was found in many Hungarian homes, but Videoton made just 50 of the stereo version, which all went to government leaders.
Altogether 90 different radios are being shown in the exhibition.
