The contest, organised for the second time this year, showcases contemporary interpretations of traditional Hungarian dress. It is a cooperative effort by Budapest?s Design Terminal, the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest, the Hungarian Heritage House and the Association of Hungarian Folk artists.
The exhibition of 18 submissions by finalists has already been shown in Veszprém and will later travel to Pécs, Tokaj, Debrecen and Balatonfüred.
In September, the Hungarian Cultural Institute in Brussels will host the show.
