Felöltözünk. Levetkőzünk. Ismét felöltözünk. Ruhakupac. Csupa álca. Mindannyian átváltozóművészek vagyunk. Blöffölünk - vagy már azt sem tudjuk, blöffölünk-e. Vetkőzzük le? Válasszunk réteget? Levetkőzzünk?
Réti Anna a Pécsi Művészeti Szakközépiskola elvégzése után a Rotterdami Táncakadémián folytatta tanulmányait. Magyarországra visszatérve szabadúszóként számos produkcióban vett részt, Lélek pulóver nélkül című darabja több nemzetközi versenyen is díjat nyert, 2007-ben pedig Lábán Rudolf-díjat kapott. A fiatal koreográfus ez alkalommal három kiváló és sokoldalú alkotóval dolgozik együtt. A Belgiumban élő olasz előadóművész-koreográfus Claudio Stellato cirkuszművésznek és jazz-zenésznek tanult. Amos Ben Tal Hollandiában élő izraeli koreográfus-zeneszerző kilenc évet táncolt a világhírű Nederlands Dans Theaterben. Újvári Milán Frenák Pál Társulatával dolgozott és a lélegzetelállító produkciókat létrehozó, kanadai Cirque du Soleil előadásában is láthattuk.
A darab címe egy ritka betegségre utal, nem a fürdőszobai ruhaszárítóra. Leopold Fregoli, (1867-1936) olasz átváltozóművészről kapta a nevét. A Fregoli-szindrómában szenvedő páciens azt hiszi, hogy rokonait, ismerőseit egyetlen, folyamatosan átváltozó személy helyettesíti.

Anna Réti studied in the Rotterdam Dance Academy and worked in Holland with Galili Dance, and Conny Janssen Danst. She started creating her own work in 2006 and her first solo, Inside out won the first price for dancer, the second price for choreography, and the audience price on the 10th Stuttgart International Solo Dancetheater Festival. She invited three interesting, versatile artists; Claudio Stellato, Belgium based, Italian dancer, choreographer, circus-artist with an experience in street theatre as well, Amos Ben-Tal also Brussels based, Israeli composer, choreographer, ex NDT-dancer and Újvári Milán ex Pal Frenak dancer whom we could also see in the ever so popular Cirque de Soleil show last year. Young energies and an uplifting humour is guaranteed.
Zoe Scofield/Juniper Shuey (USA): Repedések (A Crack in Everything) /tánc
A fiatal, amerikai koreográfus Zoe Scofield karakteres és tudatos alkotó: darabjaiban egyszerre van jelen egyfajta letisztult egyszerűség és ösztönös vadság. 2005 óta dolgozik együtt Juniper Shuey képzőművész-videóművésszel - előadásaikban Scofield, balettra épülő egyedi mozgásnyelve és Shuey erőteljes színekből, vetített rétegekből épülő vizuális világa magával ragadó atmoszférát teremt.
"Hogyan uralkodhatunk a bosszú iránti vágyunkon? A számtalanszor átélt kényszerek, agresszió, önpusztítás és rosszindulat szolgáltatnak alapot az önvizsgálatra; miért is olyan nehéz békülni és megbocsátani?" - teszi fel a kérdést Scofield és Shuey. Az alkotópáros új munkájában a görög tragédia-hármast, az Oreszteiát veszi alapul.
Zoe Scofield klasszikus balettet és modern táncot tanult ösztöndíjasként Bostonban. Hamar felfigyeltek tehetségére, a Prometheus Dance Company, majd az Atlas Dance Company hívta soraiba. Ma már saját útját járja, mint önálló koreográfus. Legújabb darabját rezidencia-programunk keretében itt, Budapesten mutatja meg először a közönségnek.

Zoe Scofield studied ballet as a scholarship student at Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts in Boston. While there she started choreographing and won the Monticello Scholarship for Emerging Choreographers at the Regional Dance of America festival. Upon graduating she joined Prometheus Dance Company in Boston and performed with them throughout the U.S. and France. After receiving the Breaking Ground festival scholarship in Toronto Canada, Zoe moved to Toronto to dance with Bill James Atlas Dance Company, as well as study Ashtanga Yoga. Since moving to Seattle she has performed with several choreographers and has shown her own work at Velocity's Under Construction, MOVE! Performance Series, Ten Tiny Dances: 11: Portland and Seattle, On the Boards' 12 Minutes Max and the 2005 Northwest New Works Festival, beginning her collaboration with video artist Juniper Shuey and musician Morgan Henderson. This began a series of collaborative projects between Juniper and Zoe that spans both visual arts and dance/performance.
An experiment in permeability and containment, aggression and catharsis, A Crack in Everything uses dance, performance, video projection, lighting, and web-on-demand to explore the dialectic of justice and revenge that operates simultaneously in our private and public universes. Presented in a highly controlled and crafted environment, the piece mines Scofield's and Shuey's personal history of compulsion, hostility, and self-destruction to explore the same questions that the Greek tragedy Oresteia provoked. How do we let go of our insatiable desire for justice and revenge?
