Wilson?s invitation for the project was announced by Nike Wagner, artistic director of the Weimar Art Festival, which will start at the end of August.
The performance will be accompanied by a light and sound installation and it is expected to be one of the most important productions at the festival. Before Via Crucis, a concert will be performed to commemorate the victims of Buchenwald and the historian Arno Lustiger, a Holocaust survivor, will deliver a speech.
