Vasilyev is to speak at the invitation of his friend, the director and choreographer József Nagy, Gyula Francis, who is organising the talk, told the Hungarian News Agency.
Vasilyev's visit is one of many events the workshop has planned this year. Thierry Bae from France will arrive in June to hold a week-long tai chi chuan seminar, and Joelle Leandre and Elsa Wolliaston will be in Kanjia on July 16-19 to present their double bass and dance workshop for local musicians and Dancer. In the autumn, the French dancer Dominique Mercy is expected to hold a week-long seminar at the workshop.
The József Nagy Regional Creative Workshop was set up in December 2006 to organise events that promote the region's cultural traditions while celebrating diversity.
