Szilvágyi, an Artisjus and Ferenc Liszt Award winner, has put together a programme honouring the 140th anniversary of Rossini's death and the 180th anniversary of Schubert's death for his concert, which will take place October 29, the Balassi Institute said.

Born in Budapest in 1964, Szilvágyi earned a degree at the Debrecen conservatory in 1988 and at the Vienna music academy in 1997. Currently, he is a teacher at Budapest's Béla Bartók Music School.
