The concerts, which took place between June 5 and 9, featured several pieces performed together with violinists Gábor Takács Nagy and Zoltán Tuska, Sándor Papp on viola and the cellist Miklós Perényi. On the programmes were Bartók's String Quartet No. 2, String Quartet No. 3 and String Quartet No. 6, which Bartók wrote to honour the memory of his mother before he left Hungary. Schiff also played several solo pieces.
