The centre offers world-class training and mentoring to talented youth from disadvantaged environments and Roma families, Szeberin said.
Applications are welcome by people aged between 12 and 20 who are open to jazz, world music and classical music and enjoy playing music on guitar, double bass, cello, violin, cimbalom, piano, percussions and wind instrument. Training sessions will be free of charge and will start in the summer.
Professional management of the centre is in the hands of the Liszt Prize-winning guitarist of Roma origin Ferenc Snétberger. The centre?s staff include well known musicians such as Kálmán Oláh, Attila László, Béla Szakcsi Lakatos, and international guest teachers Paolo Vinaccia, Tony Lakatos and Roby Lakatos.
