The Collegium Hungaricum is inviting families who met separated loved ones at Lake Balaton after the border between East and West Germany was fortified to share their stories for an exhibition planned for November 2009, twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The exhibition, entitled Deutschland am Plattensee (Germany on Lake Balaton), will travel to several cities in Germany. It will also form the basis for a book on the subject.
The Collegium Hungaricum is also seeking contacts with filmmakers and television companies that may be interested in preparing a documentary on the topic.
