The first of the four concerts will take place on October 15. It will feature a performance of George Gershwin?s Rhapsody in Blue in its original arrangement for piano and brass band, with Ádám Fellegi on piano. Excerpts from Gershwin?s Porgy and Bess will also be on the programme, sung by Eszter Bíró, Balázs Fellegi, Szabolcs Hámori and Apollónia Szolnoki.

On November 12, the Budapest Jazz Orchestra will play the big band sounds of Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman, with soloists József Balogh, Juli Fábián, István Gyárfás, György Vukán and the world-famous jazz vibraphonist Tommy Vig.

The third concert of the series, to take place on December 3, will feature Christmas and gospel classics sung by the American talent Jeanne Carroll with backup by the Bolyki Brothers. Tommy Vig will also perform again together with his wife Mia Vig. On the piano will be Sándor Farkas of the Hotel Royal Piano Bar.

The last concert of the series, to take place on December 10, will pay homage to the music of Count Basie and Frank Sinatra, sung by Tamás Berki, Kati Rácz and Jutka Jánosi with Károly Nyáry on piano.

Tickets for each of the concerts are available for HUF 6,000, but a pass for all four events is being offered at a reduced price of HUF 20,000. Tickets and passes are available from Ticket Express, the Evetim network, the Hotel Royal reception and the Szerep foundation.
