Szeged Contemporary Ballet Performs in Sofia

The troupe was invited to Sofia by the director of the Hungarian Institute in Bulgaria Doncsev Tosó.
 
The performance marked the end of Hungary?s Presidency of the Council of the European Union and was followed by a speech by Hungarian ambassador to Bulgaria Judit Láng.
 
The troupe, directed by András Pataki, has also performed in Cairo, Alexandria, Bratislava and Ljubljana over the past six months.
 
The Szeged Contemporary Ballet will next perform on July 16, bringing their popular rendering of Carmina Burana to Balatonfüred. The troupe will perform in Budapest on July 22, on the Margaret Island Open Air Stage, before taking a summer break until the end of August.
