The meeting has become the biggest bible conference in Eastern Europe over the past two decades, providing a venue for 230 presentations, of which about half were by foreign visitors, and publishing 21 conference volumes.

The conference organiser established a prize in 2010 to recognise those who have done the most to support biblical development in Hungary. This year, the prize will go to Abbot Dénes Farkasfalvy O.Cist. of Dallas, Texas. Farkasfalvy was a member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission under Pope John Paul II and is a close colleague of Pope Benedict XVI.
