Sziget is one of 25 festivals vying for the title, competing against the likes of Exit in Serbia, Hurricane in Germany, Roskilde in Denmark, Rock Werchter in Belgium and Oxygen in Ireland.
Sziget press chief Viktória Vető said winning the title would raise Sziget?s profile among international peformers.
Votes for the title can be submitted at http://eu.festivalawards.com/ until December 6.
