The production is directed by János Szikora and stars Róbert Alföldi, one of Hungary?s best-known actors, who has just ended a hugely successful run of Peter Shaffer?s Amadeus, also in the lead role. Costumes for the production were made by internationally-known Hungarian designer Kati Zoób.
Proust?s seven-volume work, considered by some to be the greatest novel of the twentieth century, has been condensed into two hours, during which the audience will see the present and past memories unlocked on a revolving stage.
