The show, called Textile+, is part of the 4th Textile Triennial and feature work from the collection of the Lodz Textile Museum in Poland.
It showcases 40 years of work in five different categories, said curator Anna Cebula.
Textile+ ?opens the floodgates to creative freedom, fruitful ideas and imagination?, says Tibor Wehner.
?Now new opportunities can be exploited: all the creativity and innovation (and all the traditions) that defined Hungarian textile art in the past decades can be enriched with new ideas, aspirations and successes: what artists need to do is find ways to link traditional and progressive (still extant and now extinct) textile authentically and powerfully with other entities to form a new quality and create a spiritual and formal synthesis in thus far unknown contexts.?
