Roots & Routes is a project in eight European countries (Hungary, Spain, Germany, Greece, The Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, France) which scouts, inspires and coaches young talented musicians, dancers and media makers with diverse cultural roots and offers the talents new routes towards the professional circuit like established stages, media institutions, and art schools.
From auditions to performances, the Roots & Routes media talents (young writers, radio- and filmmakers) are coached ?on the job? by media professionals as they produce reports to be aired by local and regional radio and television.
In Hungary, training will start on May 9 for young talents selected by a professional jury. A series of master classes will conclude with a multicultural festival to be held in Budapest?s Gödör Club on May 13. There, all of the programme?s participants will have the chance to present their skills before an audience.
Applications for a second series of master classes will be accepted until June 15, and performers who fare well in Hungary could get a chance to develop their skills at international workshops.
