Three Hungarian films to be shown at Milan festival

Slow Mirror

The feature directed by Kornel Szilagyi and Nandor Hevesi  - who work under the pseudonyms Igor and Ivan Buharov - "Slow Mirror" has been selected along with nine other films. 

 
The award-winning title is a melancholic story of a man who undergoes an extremely unsuccessful tongue operation.
 
The short films to be shown are young director Laszlo Csaky's La Fontaine paraphrase of "The Grasshopper and the Ant" and Marton Vecsei's "The Werewolf".
 
Guest of honour at the festival closing on Sunday is American-born British writer-filmmaker Terry Gilliam.
