The first premiere will take place on Friday when choreographer and dancer Attila Kun's PR-evolution Dance Company will perform "It Makes No Difference." The performance sums up the experience the company has gained since it was set up three years ago.
Fortedanse, a new company set up by dance director at the Csokonai Theatre in Debrecen Csaba Horváth, will perform one week later, on January 19. The company's performance, entitled "On the Possible States of Body Surfaces", attempts to make music visible through movement. Horváth's troupe includes several outstanding talents, including Katalin Lőrinc and Andrea Ladányi.
The premiere of "Singing Joints" by dancer choreographer Andrea Nagy, former member of the Honvéd Dance Theatre and Artus, will follow on January 25. The work will mark Nagy's first solo performance at the Trafó. "Singing Joints" is a complex production in which dance, visuals and sound play equally important roles.
All of the performances will be followed by talks with the artists and the dance historian Lívia Fuchs.
