Bálint Szabó, who heads the restorers association, said the region?s wooden architecture would be among the most discussed topics at the conference.
Conference-goers will be shown restoration efforts over the past two decades and presented the most important studies on this work. They will also take a walk around the historic centre of Cluj-Napoca.
Leonard Horvath, who heads the Cluj County Cultural Directorate, said building heritage in Cluj-Napoca and in Transylvania could be popularised.
