The performances will be hosted by the Fonó Budai Zeneház, the MU Theatre, the A38 Ship and Közgáz Jazz Club, in cooperation with the capital's District XI, which is celebrating its 77th anniversary this year.
Among the highlights of the festival will be a three-day tribute to the works of György Szabados.
The festival's organisers hope that the event will gradually attract more and more important performers and expand to become one of the most best jazz festivals in the region.
