Veszprém, a mid-sized city north of Lake Balaton, was where Latinovits was able to realise his ambition to direct. He approached several theatres around the country with the request to direct a production, but was rejected everywhere, until he came to Veszprém. Here he was given carte blanche.
Although he was a member of the company in Veszprém for just two years, these were decisive years in his life and his career. His two productions there, ?Victory? and ?The Burghers?, met with great success, as did later his book, Thrusting Into The Fog.
The three-day programme boasts a number of different events featuring János Ács, István Bujtor, György Cserhalmi, Tamás Gajdó, Marianna Moór, Judit Meszléry, András Nagy, Tamás Jordán and Péter Valló. The programme?s master of ceremonies will be the actor Péter Vallai.
