The Academy Award- and Golden Globe-winner has long had a passion for music and plays clarinet with his band at weekly gigs in New York. Even his stage name ? he was born Allen Stewart Königsberg ? reflects his love of music: "Woody" is a nod to the great clarinet player Woody Herman.
