Fürjesi has exhibited his works in Belgium, the United Kingdom, the United States and Austria, but the show at the embassy is his first in Germany. The artist decided to move to Berlin temporarily two months ago to get to know the culture on a first-hand basis. He hopes to bring back new works to Hungary when he returns.
People, peoples' feelings and their relationships with other people are at the centre of Fürjesi's work.
Speaking about Berlin, Fürjesi said the city had a special magic: "It doesn't matter at all who you are or where you came from. What counts is whether you can create something of value."
