Bordos and Kovács both studied at the Hungarian Fine Arts Academy, but they taught themselves the art of three-dimensional graphics: projecting colourful animated images onto the surfaces of buildings. Richard Di Meglio, who heads VLS, the biggest company in France specialising in building projection, took notice of the two Hungarians early on and has invited them to participate in several foreign projects.
On Thursday, a script and animation authored by Bordos and Kovács will be projected onto Atlantis The Palm at an exclusive USD 20 million party with a guest list that reads like a Who's Who of the international celebrity scene. Among those who will see Bordos and Kovács's work are Robert De Niro, Oprah Winfrey, Janet Jackson, Michael Jordan and Boris Becker.
