Majoros competed against 110 dancers, selected by a committee from hundreds of applicants, at the contest, which started on October 23 and lasted for a week. Other Hungarians picked to compete were Ágnes Kelemen and Gergely Leblanc, also students at the Dance Academy.

The international jury was headed by Kossuth Award-winning ballet dancer and teacher Imre Dózsa, a former rector of the Hungarian Dance Academy.
