The exhibition in Hamburg features almost 120 works, including paintings, drawings, etchings, lithographs, prints and small bronze objects. All of the most important representatives of the style are on display: Bronzino, Tintoretto, El Greco and Jan Breughel.
The Museum of Fine Arts cooperated with the Bucerius Kunst Forum for an exhibition of works by El Greco, Velazquez, Goya in 2006. The show drew more than 200,000 visitors, first in Germany, then in Hungary.
