Tamas Tokovics said that damage to the panorama - an enormous circular painting depicting scenes of Hungarian tribes arriving in the Carpathian Basin in the 9th century - caused by a leaking roof had been repaired and a new gallery had been constructed of glass panels allowing a closer look for the public.

The Feszty Panorama, painted by Arpad Feszty and other noted artists between 1891-94, was exhibited in a building specially built for the purpose in Budapest's City Park until WWII.

Following nearly half a century of neglect, the damaged and incomplete painting was renewed and put on permanent display in Opusztaszer (S) in 1995.
