Seven Exhibitions Open on Collectors` Night

An exhibition of works from the First Hungarian Visual Archives collection will be hosted by the Sonja Pintér Gallery. Entitled Butterfly for Psychologists, after a Roskó painting, it will feature works by El Kazovszkij, Miklós Ganczaugh, Lajos Gulácsy, Balázs Kicsiny, László Moholy-Nagy, Gábor Roskó, György Szemadám and Péter Türk.

Erdész & Makláry Fine Arts Gallery will show the artist Sam Havadtoy's debut as a photographer, with a series of distorted male nudes, opposite a series of female nudes by André Kertész from 1933.
 
MissionArt Gallery will show the early works of László Seres, most never before put on public display.
 
Stereo Gallery, which specialises in showing young artists, will highlight the latest works of Tamás Budha Kovács, Áron Konrád, Gábor Pintér and András Tábori.

The Körmendi Gallery will host a special exhibition of works by the "master of robust Madonnas" Zoltán Szabó Angyalföldi on the occasion of his 80th birthday. The gallery will show an early work by Szabó Angyalföldi - a design for a carpet - that is likely to surprise many of those familiar with the artist's work.
 
The Art Factory Gallery II will show the graphic artist Mátyás Boros's attempt to dissect a piano entitled Pianino 1:1.
 
Decker Antik will show new works by the sculptor György Chesslay.
 
Pintér Antil offers gallery hoppers warm entrees and drinks, and the establishment will host a performance by the band Makám from 9pm.
