Trafó Hosts Temps d'Images

English

The festival, which the Trafó is hosting for the fourth year in a row, matches performance and visual artists to create a broad programme of theatre, dance, opera, installations, concerts and exhibitions. As part of the programme, young artists are assigned a space and a budget and are given a limited amount of time in which to create something for an audience.

Other partner institutions in Temps d'Images include Les Halles de Schaerbeek (Belgium), La Ferme du Buisson (France), Tanzhaus Düsseldorf (Germany), Artlink (Romania), Von Krahl Theater (Lithuania), Garajistambul (Turkey), Romaeuropa (Italy), Centrum Sztuki Wspólczesnej Zamek Ujazdowski (Poland), Duplacena (Portugal), and Usine C (Canada).

"There's nothing "exclusive" about the relationship between these partners, and the Festival Temps d'Images has become a vital means of supporting individual artists. The festival's organizers supply participants with a support network, inventing new ways of ensuring that works are circulated, with each artist lending his or her experience, ideas, artistic discoveries and cultural perspectives to Temps d'Images," Trafó says of the event on its website.

Events on the Temps d'Images programme will be hosted by the Trafó, the Művész Cinema and the French Institute.
