Adventure, based on the novel of the same name by Sándor Márai, is about a doctor in Budapest in the 1940s whose wife plans to leave him for a younger man. It stars the German actor Gerd Böckmann and the Hungarians Erika Marozsán, Sándor Csányi, Károly Eperjes, Eszter Nagy-Kálózy and Mari Törőcsik.
The film premiered a year ago at the Montreal World Film Festival.
Szabolcs Hajdu?s Bibliothéque Pascal and Bence Miklauzic?s Children of the Green Dragon are also on the Love is Folly programme.
The Love is Folly International Film Festival runs from August 31 until September 6.
